Fundraising

The Colonial Park PTO cannot fulfill its primary function of supporting our childrens’ education without exploring many ways to raise funds. Our PTO tries to support Colonial Park students and teachers in multiple ways throughout the year.

We raise funds for:

• School-wide enrichments (e.g. National Reading Week, visiting musicians…)

• Classroom enrichments

• Teacher stipends

• Field trips for each grade

• PTO-Sponsored school-wide events (Halloween Party, Pasta Night, Ice Cream Social)

• Special projects our staff and students are passionate about (e.g. “Only One You” rock art project)

We can only support these initiatives through fundraising. Our primary money-earners are: student support funds ($25 per student suggested donation each year), restaurant partnerships, commercial partnerships , passive fundraising (see how you can help below.)

Here are some easy ways to support Colonial Park Elementary School PTO!

Do you use Shutterfly? Please use the Shutterfly Storefront link below, then sign in as you typically would. Great for making Holiday cards, photo gifts, or for printing your favorite memories while giving back to the PTO!

Mabel’s Labels These are great labels for jackets, clothing, backpacks, lunch boxes and water bottles. They go through the washer/dryer & dishwasher great. It is so helpful to have these items labeled at school! Please go to the site, click on Support a Fundraiser, Select School / Organization, then scroll down to Colonial Park School PTO.

Box Tops Collect Box Tops from participating items and earn money for Colonial Park! Box Tops has transitioned to a smart app to collect box tops by scanning your store receipt,or submitting your digital receipt. Remember to submit your receipt within 14 days of your purchase.

You can also use the Box Tops App to search for special offers each month, which can help you earn even more money for the school!

Do you have old textiles?

Baystate Textiles has collection boxes outside each school in Stoneham, plus at Town Hall and Stevens Street Recyling Center. Any clean textiles (e.g. old clothes with holes in them, blankets, stuffed animals, jerseys, etc) can be placed in a plastic bag and deposited in a collection box. Each school in Stoneham splits the proceeds.
